Joe Biden is running as if he were unopposed for the Democratic governmental election, however he might deal with a comeuppance in New Hampshire. In the name of “variety,” the Democratic National Committee benched the Granite State from its standard status as the first-in-the-nation main in favor of South Carolina, where Mr. Biden’s 2020 project flew.
New Hampshire chose to hold its main on Jan. 23 anyhow, much to the DNC’s irritation. The state will not assign any convention delegates, and the DNC firmly insists that makes the main “useless.” However it might show an early step of the incumbent’s weak point. Mr. Biden chose not to put his name on the tally, requiring allies to run a write-in project versus Rep. Dean Phillips and self-help author Marianne Williamson
